Τα Ξύλινα Σπαθιά

Ta Xylina Spathia (translates to The Wooden Swords) were an Alternative Rock band formed in 1992 in Thessaloniki, Greece. On 10/3/94 they made their first live appearance along with 'Citizen Cane' at Stuff (Thessaloniki). On 16/7/1998 they performed at 'Rockwave Festival' (Pireaus) along with 'Pulp', 'Sonic Youth', 'Closer (2)', 'Puressence' & 'Bokomolech'. In September 1998, they supported 'The Rolling Stones' at their concert in Athens. They disbanded in December 2003.
