What counts as a physical music release?
A physical release is a manufactured music edition such as vinyl, CD, cassette, MiniDisc, shellac or music video. Digital-only downloads and streaming releases are excluded from Garimpa’s published catalog count.
Where does Garimpa’s catalog data come from?
Garimpa combines physical-release data from Discogs, MusicBrainz, Wikimedia, Wikidata, Fanart.tv and connected services with carefully curated reference datasets used in catalog imports. AI-assisted review helps identify gaps, duplicates, conflicts and possible links, but suggestions are reviewed before publication; source references and provenance remain visible wherever available.
How do wishlist price-drop and restock alerts work?
