Sonny Til

He was part of the vocal group of The Orioles as first tenor vocalist from 1947 to 1954. After 1954, the group changed their name and (with some member changes) became ''Sonny Til and the Orioles'', until his death in 1981. Born: August 18 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland. Died: December 9, 1981 in Washington, D.C.
