Notas

- A Parkway Recording. - Series 250 - The front cover of this release is identical to the other 1962 Australian release, Limbo Party (with dark green and silver label). The difference lays in the position of the catalogue number, series number and Mono identification on the back. In this release they are printed further down (almost in line with Chubby Checker and the "L" in Limbo Party). In the other release these details are positioned at the very top of the cover. - This release also differs from Limbo Party in that the catalogue number printed on the spine does not have a dash between the letters and the numbers (i.e. OEX 9203). With the other release this is OEX-9203. Both versions have the catalogue number printed as OEX 9203 on the back cover, however. - The labels for this version and Limbo Party appear to be identical. However, the matrix runout details are quite different. This release does not have P7020-A or P7020-B on either side's runout area. - Please Note: This release, along with Limbo Party, Limbo Party, Limbo Party, Limbo Party, and Limbo Party all have a disparity between the writing credits given for "The Bossa Nova" (Side 1, #6) on the back cover and that given on the label. In this respect the covers identify the writers as Mann-Appell, while the labels have Mann-Stoller-Leiber-Weil-Loose. These label credits are possibly an error on the part of staff or the printers employed by E.M.I (Australia) which made and manufactured the album in that country (including reissues). Only Limbo Party has matching credits for the song. There may be a link between this possible error and two songs with "Bossa Nova" in the tile which became international hits in 1963. The writers of these two songs are credited in the label credits for the Chubby Checker song. One is "Bossa Nova Baby" (written by Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller) which became a hit for Elvis Presley. The other is Jerry Mann and Cynthia Weil's "Don't Blame it on the Bossa Nova" (a hit for Evie Gormé). Neither of these songs has any relationship to the Chubby Checker song. It is unclear how Lieber and Stoller and Mann and Weil could have been linked to Checkers' "The Bossa Nova" given that their songs were released after November 1962 (generally accepted as the year Checker's album was first published in Australia). The credit error might make some kind of sense if the Australian album was released during or after 1963. The identity of the writer "Loose" is presently unknown.
