Notas

Third CD issue of Tatsuro Yamashita's Greatest Hits! Of compilation released in 1990. The compilation already had two CD issues in 1984 and 1986, but for the 1990 reissue, some songs that were edited for the compilation were replaced with different sound sources. As Yamashita himself had already transferred from the RVC/Air label in the early 1980s, he was not involved during the compilation's reissue. It was not until he read a letter sent to him on his radio program that his compilation had been edited without his approval. As a result, Yamashita filed a lawsuit against BMG Victor, Inc. (the manufacturer of the CD and owner of the Air Records label at the time) and called for the compilation to be recalled and its sales to be discontinued. The lawsuit had reached international news, since an artist filing a lawsuit against his label was considered to be rare in Japan. The edits for this edition are: --The version of "Amaku Kiken na Kaori" was sourced from the Come Along II compilation, with "Yoru no Tsubasa -Nightwing-" (from the Moonglow album) appearing at the beginning, as well as DJ Katsuya Kobayashi's voice being heard. --The single version of "Ride On Time" was replaced by the album version. --The original version of "Funky Flushin'" from Moonglow was used instead of the re-recorded version. --The version of "Bomber" was sourced from the Come Along compilation, with the sound effects from the Go Ahead! album and DJ Katsuya Kobayashi's voice being heard in the introduction. --The full 7-minute version of "Solid Slider" from Spacy was used instead of the shorter 3-minute version. --"Interlude B Part II" from the For You album is included at the beginning of "Your Eyes." In 1995, Yamashita and BMG Victor, Inc. reached an agreement, and all of these edits were corrected in the 1997 CD issue, with digital remastering being supervised by Yamashita himself. In addition, three new tracks are included for this compilation's reissue; those being "Love Space" (from Spacy), "Sparkle" (from For You), and the "9 Minutes of Tatsuro Yamashita" track that was on the B-side of a promotional record made around the time the For You album was released.
