Very similar to release Jesus Christ Superstar, but with a hand-engraved Roman numeral “I”. This is the personal mark of a German mastering and lacquer cutting engineer Gerhard Schulze. The Opera was recorded at Olympic Sound Studio, Barnes, Advision Studios, Island Studios, and Spot Production Studios on 16-track tape. Box DOES NOT read "Original Recording" on front, release 1735073 does. There is a later version - 1227708 - with black & rainbow label design, same catalog# though. Release 10673474 also has black & rainbow label design, but newer catalog 6.30 012 on labels and sleeve and label code - still similar runout groove.
