Record company founded 1st January 1964 by Eddie Wingate and his wife Joanne Jackson Bratton, it was the parent company of Golden World, Ric-Tic Records, Wingate, and J & W Records Inc.. The company and publishing were later sold to Motown's Berry Gordy in 1966.
