Peter Kvint

Swedish musician, songwriter and music producer, born June 17, 1965 in Karlstad. He has written songs for and produced many of Sweden's most famous artists. The big breakthrough came with Andreas Johnson's world hit "Glorious" in 1999, a song that topped charts worldwide. In Melodifestivalen 2006, he competed as a songwriter with Sing For Me, which was sung by Andreas Johnson, who himself had also co-written the song. It finished in third place in the final in the Globen but was a hit and came first on the Trackslistan and Svensktoppen. He received the Swedish Music Publishers Association's award for 2006 in the category "Song of the Year" and was nominated for a Grammy. After that, Peter Kvint has for four years in a row written songs that have been included in the melody festival.
