Rob White

American smooth jazz saxophonist It was a set of strings, not a woodwind that launched the musical career of Rob White. At the tender age of 7, encouraged by his mother, Rob picked up a violin and started a journey that led to music mastery, music revolt and a monumental musical collaboration. Rob White a National Recording Artist from Fort Worth, Texas currently has three released albums all charting in the top ten of the Contemporary Billboard Charts. His debut album Let It Ride, peaked at number six and remained in the top ten for sixty-two weeks. His music can be heard on the jazz station Watercolors, as well as most digital radio platforms and stations. Rob's musical journey began at age 7 playing the violin. After playing for a few years, he switched over to saxophone and never looked back. He has been playing the saxophone since age 11, which is when his mother brought his first one home in the summer of 1992. His musical roots in music stem from his mother who is a singer, and his grandfather's cousin (on his father's side) Jazz Legend and icon, Edward "Duke" Ellington. Rob's music has been featured on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, as well as the soundtrack to the film, Not Easily Broken based on the book by T.D. Jakes starring Morris Chestnut and Taraji P. Henson.
