Tone Set

Tone Set was an electronic band from Tempe, Arizona, active approximately between 1981 and 1983, consisting of Galen Herod and Greg Horn, who met while working at KAET, Tempe’s public broadcasting station. Their early recordings combined synthesizers and tape-based audio, including the 1982 release 760213, which featured limited vocals and recorded dialogue. They also performed under the name Life Is Busy and released a cassette single. The group ended activity around 1983, after which both members pursued solo work.
