Kazunori Takeda

Japanese tenor saxophonist. Born November 14, 1939 in Tokyo. Died August 18, 1989. Was active in several Japanese jazz groups during the 1960s. Duetted with Elvin Jones in Tokyo in 1966. He then vanished from the scene for over ten years. He reappeared in 1978, and from 1979 spent four years touring with Yosuke Yamashita.
