Flipmode Squad is a hip‑hop collective formed and fronted by Trevor Smith (4) aka Busta Rhymes, originally launched in the early ’90s as he transitioned from Leaders of the New School. The group gained prominence with the 1998 release of their sole studio album, The Imperial, on Elektra Records. The squad’s roster has shifted over time. Among the notable members are: Cleveland C. Delaney Jr. aka Serious-Lee-Fine, George Spivey aka DJ Scratch, Leroy Jones (3) aka Baby Sham, Rakeem Myer aka Roc Marciano, Rashia Fisher aka Rah Digga, Roger "Rampage" McNair, Wayne Notise aka Lord Have Mercy and William Lewis aka Spliff Star.
