Blaq Poet

Wilbur Bass aka The Poet (later called himself Blaq Poet) is an American rapper from Queensbridge, New York, born on May 31, 1969. He was a member of the duo PHD (3) alongside Hot Day and later joined the group Screwball, known for their hardcore, street-driven sound. Before pursuing a solo career, he established himself as a key figure in Queensbridge hip-hop, collaborating with artists like Mobb Deep and maintaining a raw, uncompromising style.
