Sir George Edward Wade (20 September 1869 – 29 November 1954), better known by his stage name, George Robey, was an English music hall comedian and singer, as well as an actor in film and on stage. He was known by audiences as the "Prime Minister of Mirth". Great-uncle of Nicholas Wade from Alien Sex Fiend.
