Brazilian singer and songwriter born in 1957, Campo Grande, MS.
She is the seventh daughter of a family of artists, the Espindola family. Sister of Tetê Espíndola, Geraldo Espíndola, Celito Espíndola, Jerry Espíndola, Humberto Espíndola, Sérgio Espíndola, she began her professional career with her siblings at the launch of the LP Tetê e o Lírio Selvagem (1978/80).
After five years (1985), she started her solo career with the release of Alzira Espíndola LP (1987), produced by Almir Sater. In this album, she interpreted some of her own compositions and also works from other composers such as: Almir Sater, Paulo Simões, Guilherme Rondon, Capenga, Renato Teixeira and Arrigo Barnabé.
