American lyricist. Born June 25, 1924 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA Died September, 1972 in New York City, New York, USA He was a prolific lyricist with composers Jerry Livingston, Les Baxter, and Imogen Carpenter. He also wrote lyrics for three Broadway shows. He charted four times between 1951 and 1958 on the U.S. charts, with his top charter being "Calla Calla" by Vic Damone in 1951 (co-written by Margarita Almeda & Eddy Samuels).
