Stefan Petrache

Ștefan Petrache (born 8 May 1949, Vynetor, Nisporeni region, Moldavia – died 13 January 2020) was a Moldovan singer. After graduating from the Institutul de Arte „G. Musicescu” din Chișinău he joined the Orchestra Tele-Radio Moldova as a soloist. He then became a soloist for the vocal-instrumental bands Оризонт (Orizont) and Contemporanul and later led the ensemble Плай (Plai).
