In jewel case with obi. A six panel roll-fold cover/insert includes liner notes in English. An additional fold-out insert includes a facsimile of the original gatefold liner notes and credits also in English, backed by a further set of liner notes in Japanese. Tracks 1, 5, 6 & 8 are previously unissued. All other selections were originally released on United Artists Records. Recorded at Sound Makers, New York City on April 24, 1962 (3, 5 & 6) and May 14, 1962 (all others). Title on traycard, spines, obi and disc is "Undercurrent Completed" (with "Completed" boxed on traycard, spines and obi). "The first of two classic encounters by Bill Evans and Jim Hall, UNDERCURRENT has been a jazz classic since its first day of release. We have gone back to the original 3 track tapes and remixed them to digital, substantially improving the sound quality.
