Notes

This version pressed at American Record Pressing Co., as indicated by the script 'ARP' stamp in its runouts (other matrix information is etched). As ARP burned down in 1972, this will be either a first pressing regional variant (unlike the others, there are no Sterling markings) or a very early repress. Its labels are set in a serif font, unlike the US promo and other documented US pressings, whose sans-serif font matches the UK Dandelion labels. Catalogue number is hyphenated on the sleeve but unhyphenated on labels. Title appears as 'Ear of Beholder' on sleeve front and spine, but 'Ear of the Beholder' on all labels. B4 appears on the label' as 'Conversation With Children / Jamaican Rumba', and on the sleeve as '4a. Conversation' & '4b. Mango Walk'. The correct title for Benjamin's song is 'Jamaican Rumba', which is derived from a folk song called 'Do Mango Walk'. C1 appears on the label as 'Rasa - Moods', and on the sleeve as 'Rasa Moods'. D7 appears on the label as 'That's Why Darkies Were Born', and on the sleeve as 'Dat's Why Darkies Were Born'. 'Kirwin Dear' is an alias for Kevin Ayers. 'Robert of Dulwich' is an alias for Robert Wyatt.
