Notes

Album back and the label for Side 1 have a small rectangular sticker reading: PROMOTIONAL RECORD FOR BROADCAST & REVIEW NOT FOR SALE Front cover of album bears a small single hole punch in the upper right corner, just on the gold border of the recropped image from the original Columbia Masterworks album. The hole does not go through the back cover, nor is there a hole in the record sleeve. The record sleeve contains information about "SQ" on one side while the other side contains an essay titled, "A Record Collector's Guide to Quadraphonic Sound" and a listing of quadrophonic recordings produced by Columbia, Columbia Masterworks, Epic, and Custom Labels. The bottom of the back cover has a boxed section containing information about Columbia SQ QUADRAPHONIC recordings. It's final sentence notes that, "The Columbia SQ QUADRAPHONIC record conforms to the standard RIAA Equalization Curve, has the full dynamic range of the stereo LP disc and may be played through any existing stereo system with optimum results.
