Recorded November 25, 1985 at Abbey Road Studios, London Special thanks to Richard Kraft CD Editing: JVC Disc Digital System (recording and editing): JVC DAS-900 Japan-for-U.S. original Varèse Sarabande CD pressing of their 1986 LP configuration (704.310), featuring digital premiere recordings of symphonic suites from the "The Right Stuff" and "North and South". The packaging features a four-page booklet with credits from the two productions on the interior pages, and color front and back covers, the former featuring key art from both productions, and the latter featuring two photos: one of Dennis Quaid as Gordon Cooper from "The Right Stuff," and one of Patrick Swayze, Terri Garber, and Philip Casnoff as Orry Main, Ashton Main Huntoon and Elkanah Bent from "North and South."
