Notes

First press of gatefold sleeve, featuring the controversial image (censored by some outlets at the time) of naked ladies on front/back. Discerning characteristics of this version: 'Dual labels' version. A second label has been affixed on each of the four sides to correct mispressing of the sides. Here, disc 1 has sides A/B and disc 2, sides C/D instead of A/D and B/C. https://jmhvinyl.co.uk/electric-ladyland-track Cover spread is fully laminated inside and out At time of submission, only copy seen for reference had the following sleeve (see photos): Hendrix on the right hand side when opening the gatefold (behind back sleeve). Sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles. No printing to the left of the Track logo inside the gatefold. Discs in poly-lined white paper punch-hole sleeves. "Patent no 800513 & 973939" "Made in England" and date codes: 108/098. Disc 1 carries sides A and B and with matrix codes ending in 9, disc two has C and D with matrix codes ending in 8. In the BAOI field a ''▒'' denotes a scratched-out character. Visible on all four sides Recorded: Initial tracks at Olympic Studios, London, January 1968. Completed at Record Plant Studios, Studio A, New York, June to August 1968. Performers, additional to the band, and technical credits added retrospectively. Taken from the authorized Hendrix family trust releases on the Experience Hendrix label.
