Original song title:
Track 1: ‘I sing the body electric’ by The Manhattan performers from the movie ‘Fame’ (1980). Dean Pitchford wrote the lyrics for the original song and was incorrectly printed on the CD insert as music composer.
Track 3: “Heaven on the 7th Floor” by Paul Nicholas was released as 7” single and in his eponymous debut (1977). In the same year Mighty Pope also recorded his version in his album “The Mighty Pope”.
Track 6: “Say you love me” by Patti Austin from the album ‘End of a rainbow’ (1976).
Track 7: “Daddy’s home” by Shep and the Limelites released as 7” Single in 1961 and in their album “Our Anniversary” (1962).
Track 9: “Touch me in the morning” by Diana Ross from the album ‘Touch me in the morning’ (1973).
Track 10: “Stardust” originally composed and recorded by Carmichael under Gennett studio, Richmond, Indiana (1927) and lyrics later added by Mitchell Parish in 1929. It has been recorded by many other artists including Nat King Cole.
