Today we announce the most luxurious MASTERCUT EDITION so far celebrating not only one of our most favourite and successful recordings of all time “A Love Supreme” but also our deep love for Japan, famous for the highest quality level in record production globally. This very special edition is the first MASTERCUT EDITION produced in Japan by our dear friends from Toyokesai, who allowed us to establish two of our all new MASTERCUT cutting lathes in their iconic cutting room in their factory close to Tokyo. On top of that sensational opportunity we also could convince our friends at the the world’s last professional lacquer disc producer, Public Records Company, to produce super high end SPECIAL EDITION LACQUERS, just for this edition. These Lacquers are only coated on one side, the other metal side we carefully Screenprinted with an image of the original MASTERTAPE we received from Universal Archives. Of course also our print team spent some extra hours to create a super special Japan inspired packaging for this luxurious high end edition, most importantly an OBI as homage to Japanese Record culture.
The total circulation of this MASTERCUT release is strictly limited to a maximum total of 999 records. As of today the following different editions have been released.
Premier Cut: 01 - 99
USA Edition: 01 - 500
Japan Cut Twin Single Side Edition: 01 - 50
