Inner sleeve headline: Capitol '66 Sounds Great. Assumption would be this release is from that same year Dean Martin’s last recording for the Capitol label was this 1962 collection of pop standards done Afro-Cuban-Latin style, with Nelson Riddle once again waving the baton and weaving his arranging magic. After recording these sessions, Martin joined Frank Sinatra's Reprise Records label. This album's songs were recorded between December 18th and December 20th of 1961. The backing orchestra was conducted and arranged by Nelson Riddle.
