Paul R. Eakins was concerned over the loss of many fine Automated Music Machines to time,
neglect, and misuse. He felt these should be preserved for future generations to enjoy; hence,
he spent years searching for machines and completely restoring them. He feels they are as
much a part of our American Heritage as the automobile. This album is one of a series designed
to further the interest in a historical aspect that was almost lost forever.
