Special Beat Service

Very similar to this Electrosound pressing - Special Beat Service but this pressing has a slightly different back cover. See photos. At the bottom of the back of cover, this copy omits the last line "Mastered by Bob Carbone and Marv Bornstein." Instead, the last line is "1982 International Record Syndicate Inc. Manufactured and Distributed by A&M Records, Inc." This line is moved to the very bottom center of other covers instead of the block of text next to the English Beat airplane logo on the back cover. "B" on labels & EMW in runouts denotes an Electrosound Group Midwest, Inc. pressing. Some copies pressed on translucent vinyl. On the translucent copies, the vinyl appears to be opaque, but when held to a light source it is revealed to be translucent. Spine reads "SP70032 THE BEAT SPECIAL BEAT SERVICE Ⓟ 1982 I.R.S., INC. PRINTED IN USA" Track A6 listed as "Rotating Heads" on label; B3 as "Pato And Roger Ago Talk" and B6 "Sugar And Stress" on inner sleeve. Also of note is the misspelling of saxaphone on the inner sleeve. Runouts are etched.
