Scheherazade

First cassette issue, issued in the 1973-74 "Masterworks of Music" Programme (previously the Basic Library) along with the LP (S/2813), reel-to-reel (8168-8169) and 8-track (1230). The programme was nominally for reissues, but included new recordings of previously available works: this one replaced S/2410 with Leinsdorf conducting. Offered again on all formats in April 1974 (presumably with mitred corners on the insert) and April 1975 (with the new numbering system - C 00074).
