Notes

This is the pre-Jack Hess Imperials from 1954, when Eddie Seals had joined the group, replacing David Reece on piano and vocals after being asked to audition by Charles Speed. This now made the group for the next three releases under the Imperial Quartet name Homer Tankersly, Jr., Floyd Gray, Charles Speed, Eddie Seals, & Bill Randall. These are all pretty darn rare and were mainly pressed up to sell at gigs. The group also concocted a pop group called the Commodores, who would record with much of this same personnel, almost concurrently. (interviews conducted with Eddie Seals between 2016-2019.)
