Most of the music on this record was written for Frank Wedekind's play "Frühes Erwachen" produced at National Theater Mannheim in 1984. "Melchior" is a portrait of the tragic part of Melchior in the theatre production by Harald Clemen, as well as a portrayal of an imaginary young person of our time in all his complexity. Recorded at Trion Sound, Frankfurt, November 1984 and April 1985. Side A is subtitled 1. Charakter Suite Teil 1. Side B is subtitled 1. Charakter Suite Teil 2. Track A9 is misprinted on label "zerrisen". © + ℗ Vollton Musikverlag, Heilbronnerstr. 302 A, D-7000 Stuttgart 30
