The Four Seasons

"An ERATO recording, released in Australia exclusively by World Record Club." Australian WRC 2nd pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "S/2835" on sleeve, "S-2835" on blue 'herald' labels. At least two versions exist, this one with a dark brown cover, and one with a lighter brown/orange cover - the later one should have R- numbers on the labels for the post-1975 reissue, but WRC were not consistent in updating the labels for reissues. The labels feature tall, narrow headers, with bold non-italic font elsewhere - the 1974 style - while there are no alternate R numbers on the back, which were introduced from October 1974. The number R-01709 was allocated, but only the 8-track reissue has surfaced so far, appearing in the 1976 Sale Catalogue (K 01709). The nearest known LP numbers are 1733 and 01527. This one briefly replaced the Paillard recording of the work (S/2806), but this was reissued to replace it in 1977, as R-03024 (R-00071 would have been the expected number, had it not been withdrawn).
