To mark this momentous metal moment, their fifth album, Blackwater Park, often lauded as their masterpiece, is re-issued as a CD/DVD Legacy Edition on 29th March. The CD will include, as a bonus track, a previously unreleased live version of THE LEPER AFFINITY. The DVD features a brand new 5.0 audio mix of the original album plus a previously-unseen documentary, THE MAKING OF BLACKWATER PARK. Filmed in the summer of 2000 at Studio Fredman in Sweden, it features interviews with the band and clips of them recording and gives a fascinating insight to the genesis of their breakthrough album. To say 'thank you' to their legions of fans for their support over 20 years, Opeth are playing six special shows across the globe in a host of prestigious venues. At each, the band will preform two sets. The first half will pay homage to BLACKWATER PARK - originally released in 2001 - when they will play it in its entirety. The second set will include tracks from across their extensive catalogue (which totals 9 studio albums to date).
