This release is similar to MTV Unplugged In New York however, this one has two inner colored circles for disc artwork. There is no IFPI code on this version. This is a first pressing. Recorded live for MTV at Sony Studios (NYC, USA) on November 18, 1993. Mixed at Louie's Clubhouse (NYC, USA). Mastered at Precision Mastering (Los Angeles, USA). Track 3 is a cover of a The Vaselines song. Track 4 is a cover of a David Bowie song. Tracks 10 to 12 are covers of Meat Puppets songs, which first appeared on their 29825 album. Track 14 is a cover of a Leadbelly song. "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" is incorrectly credited to Leadbelly as it is a traditional song that was arranged by Leadbelly.
