Notes

Track 1 is misspelled "Bringing In The Georgia Mall" on the release artwork. Five of the songs presented here date from February 10, 1976, sessions held at Fireside Studio in Nashville that featured James Monroe, guitar and lead vocals with guest Bill Monroe, mandolin and tenor vocals. The remaining cuts were done at Hilltop Studio on March 17, 1978. It was here that 'The Father of Bluegrass Music' made an unscheduled and totally unexpected appearance at the studio and was invited to participate in the session. These sides have not been released in any format until now. A precise listing of supporting instrumental players on a song by song basis has been lost to history but the album includes the work of Joe Stuart, Kenny Baker, Jim Brock and Buddy Spicher on fiddles. Alan O'Bryant played banjo on all titles except "Roll In My Sweet Baby's Arms," (Vic Jordan) with upright bass by Jerry Sullivan and Billy Linneman. Mixed at Starday Recording Studio
