Recorded at The LOCAL, 61 rue de Tauzia (Bordeaux) for the rhythm section (3 to 9 april 2000) and the horns (29 & 30 april, 1st may, 19 & 20 june 2000) and at Studio Des Hurlements (Bègles) for the voices (29 & 30 september 2000). Mixed from 1 to 8 october 2000, mastered 11 & 12 january 01. Liner notes say: Track 3 is a cover of The Techniques (1967, Treasure Isle) adapted from "Minstrel and Queen" by Curtis Mayfield. Track 7 is built on the "You don't care" riddim (Techniques standard sung in 1967 for Treasure Isle by Pat Kelly). Track 10 is built on the "Real Rock" riddim (originally by the Soul Vendors, Studio One 1968). For track 14: Eddy Da Costa-Freitas is Doctor Riddim, Nicolas Boosma is Mister Voices and Dominique Rataud is Professor Brass.
