Musée Du Louvre

Musée du Louvre, or the Louvre Museum, colloquially known as Louvre, is a French national art museum, established in August 1793 and located at Palais du Louvre in the historical downtown of Paris; widely renowned as one of the world's most famous museums, particularly for Western European fine arts. Since 1993, the museum's main entrance has been enclosed under the Louvre Pyramid, a glass structure designed and constructed by I. M. Pei.
