Emerson Records

US label established in 1915 by Victor Hugo Emerson. After its parent company, Emerson Phonograph Company Inc. went into receivership in 1920, it became part of the Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corporation in 1922. The label then became The New Emerson. In 1924 the label was sold to the , which discontinued the label in 1928. Can be written as Emerson, Emerson Record, or Emerson Records! All of these relate to the Emerson Phonograph Company Inc..
