U.S. company of the London Records label. Originally founded in New York in 1946 as The London Gramophone Corporation, and subsequently changed its name to "London Records, Inc." on April 6, 1953. The name changed again, to "Decca Electronics, Inc." on April 16, 1980, which was ultimately merged out in 1999.
