Music Securities, Inc.

Music Securities, Inc. (Japanese name: ミュージック・セキュリティーズ株式会社) is a Japanese investment company established on November 26, 2001 (founded in December 2000), with its headquarters in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The company name originates from the fact that it was originally established as a fund to discover and support artists. Since 2007, the company has expanded its scope to include the management of investment funds that raise capital for local industries and technologies facing the risk of disappearance. Additionally, since 2009, it has operated Securite, a business investment crowdfunding platform. In its music business, it previously operated the record label MS Record. In 2020, Music Securities, Inc. transferred the rights and obligations associated with its music business to MS Record, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary established for that purpose. Subsequently, in 2023, MS Record, Inc. underwent a management buy-out (MBO), resulting in a complete separation between Music Securities, Inc. and the subsidiary.
