8 Track Stereo (2)

8 Track Stereo was one of many quasi-labels used by a company in Tulsa and/or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to release unofficial 8-track bootlegs of various albums. They were advertised via radio and TV and sold via mail order. Releases from this company can be identified by their 3 or 4-digit catalog numbers, labels that are either plain-text or unrelated clip art, and (on later releases) inclusion of text stating that all copyright fees have been paid (which was untrue). This company may possibly be related to T.V. Products, and if so was shut down in March 1973 following a lawsuit filed by The Beatles.
