Operating under this name between 2007 and 2012. Previously known as Sonopress Arvato. Established on 1 October 2007 (registered January 2008) as part of arvato AG, a division of Bertelsmann AG, headquartered in Gütersloh, Germany. At the time the world's second largest manufacturer of recorded media with production facilities in 18 countries on all five continents. Sonopress Arvato, the previous brand used for Bertelsmann AG's manufacturing business, was official rebranded Arvato Digital Services on April 17, 2008. For releases from late 2011 onward that only show 'arvato' in the matrix rather than the logo 'arvato digital services BERTELSMANN', please use Arvato instead of this page. Typical Arvato Digital Services CD matrix pattern (for releases manufactured in Europe): [Arvato Digital Services logo] 5xxxxxxx/YYY ZZ - 5xxxxxxx is a number assigned by Arvato Digital Services for internal cataloguing. - YYY is the catalogue number of the release. - ZZ is a two digit number, often 21 or 22, 25 and 26 are also known. Known SID codes are: Mould SID: IFPI 07xx, IFPI 07xxx and IFPI 07xxxx, IFPI RVxx Mastering SID: IFPI LB45, IFPI LB 46, IFPI LB47, IFPI LB 50, IFPI LP73, IFPI LP 73 (spaces as shown on known releases) and IFPI LP74. Certain clients such as Sony BMG Music Entertainment or Sony Music may replace the 'arvato digital services BERTELSMANN' matrix logo with their own, or there may be no logo present at all. Arvato Digital Services may still be identified on such discs by the SID codes listed above, the matrix format and number 5xxxxxxx. This LCCN entry should be used with CD matrix numbers between 5265xxxx-5485xxxx (manufactured 2008-2011).
