Tempodrom

A.k.a. Tempodrom Berlin and rarely Berlin Temprodrom. The Tempodrom is a live venue, located in Berlin, Germany. In the beginning it was an alternative live concert venue close to the neighbourhood of the "Berlin Wall" on the westside of the "Potsdamer Platz". It was founded in 1980, bought by the nurse Irene Moessinger who inherited money and invested it for the Tempodrom to complete her life´s dream. After some financial problems the Tempodrom moved in 1985 in the neighbourhood of the Kongresshalle / Tiergarten. After the reunification they build there the government offices and had to move again because of security reasons, this time on an area of the "Anhalter Bahnhof" and set up a construction building in form of a circus tent, where it´s still in business.
