Use when an item lists only Distributed by Vital. If the wording Vital Distribution is used on release, list them under Vital Distribution instead. Vital was a trade name for the the independent distribution, sales & marketing company Vital Distribution Ltd., officially active between March 28th 1994 and January 10th 2008. This company had briefly traded under the name Revolver/APT after the merger of Bristol based Revolver (3) and York based APT (2) in January 1993. Belgian record company and distributor, [PIAS] Recordings (Pias), who had owned APT (2) continued to hold a controlling interest in this newly named company. In January 2008 the company name was changed to [PIAS] UK Ltd., trading as PIAS UK.
