It is a public facility of Barcelona City Council, founded in 1993, managed by the Cultural Association Tram (2).
C.A.T. has regularly scheduled concerts, dances and sessions of improvisation and exchange between soloists and groups.
In addition, instrument learning workshops (diatonic accordion, percussion, gralla, violin, flabiol ...) and dance workshops are scheduled on a quarterly basis.
Although his preferred field of action is traditional Catalan music, the C.A.T. incorporates into its programming groups and soloists from other musical traditions. Apart from those in Spain, Occitans, French, Italians, Irish, Greeks, etc. they have participated in concert programming.
