Use only for recordings made between 1916-1918. Use Church Studio, Camden, New Jersey for recordings made on or after February 1918. This building near the riverfront in Camden NJ was finished in 1916 as the executive office building for Victor Talking Machine Co., which was acquired by RCA and became RCA Victor in 1930. In addition to offices, the building contained an auditorium and banquet hall; the 8th floor auditorium was also used to make recordings. Victor moved its recording to Church Studio, Camden, New Jersey in 1918. The building was used as the Camden Board of Education administration building and is one of the few buildings left in what was a large electronics manufacturing and engineering complex. The former headquarters of the world-famous record company is being transformed into Class A office space with potential for ground floor retail. The project, targeted for completion in summer 2018, is being developed by Millennial Place - a partnership between Hagen Construction and Millennial Partners - and financed with $5.5 million from Procida Funding. Great location in the heart of the CBD immediately adjacent to the booming waterfront and the Rutgers Camden campus. The Victor Loft apartments are next door.
