Manta/Eastern Sound

Canadian studio located in Toronto, Ontario. Established in August 1991 when Manta Sound merged with Eastern Sound. The official name was Manta Eastern Sound Company Inc. and it was owned by Standard Broadcasting Corporation and managed by Command Post & Transfer Corporation. Property developers had purchased Eastern's building on Yorkville Avenue to build condos so the new company used the Manta location on Adelaide Street. Space was made for the Eastern studio set up by Manta moving post-production, video and some recording facilities to the Ontario Street branch Manta Digital Sound And Picture.
