Canada's first tape duplicating operation established in early 1968 by U.S. parent company Stereodyne, Inc. as a wholly-owned subsidiary. The company opened on January 15, 1968 and the plant went into production on February 5, 1968. Original management staff were poached from Ampex Of Canada.
