Albion Records

UK indie label active 1978 to mid 80's. The label/company was a spin off on a management company founded 1976 by Ian Grant, Dai Davies and Derek Savage and released mainly the punk and pubrock bands managed by the three. The group also included the publishing company Albion Music Ltd.. Albion Music Ltd. published the music of 999 on the Labritain Records label which had the same center label design later to become that of the first Albion Records labels. Early on Albion Records became managed by Alan Edwards. The indie label releases was early on releasing in collaboration with United Artists Records Ltd. and later Arista before becoming a division of German Line Music GmbH by the mid 80's.
