American nightclub in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where jazz was showcased and many important recordings were made. It was owned by trombonist and manager of a L.A. coffeehouse Rudy Onderwyzer and jazz drummer Shelly Manne. Manne led the house band. It's sometimes referred to as The Shelly Manne-Hole or The Manne-Hole. It opened November 4th 1960 on Cahuenga Boulevard.
