Studio located in Athens, Greece. Active in sound processing for both TV and radio spots as well as in the field of cinema and music productions, television and radio spots, as well as music productions.
Founded in 1956 by Manólis Nikoloúdis & Μίμης Πλέσσας in Στοά Νικολούδη (Nikoloudis Gallery).
The studio was later purchased by businessman Níkos Panópoulos and operated at a new address, on Stadiou Street, equipped with an 8-channel console. (Some of the gear were purchased by Γιάννης Σμυρναίος for his own Polysound Studio).
In 1976, Panopoulos bought a movie theatre at 99 Messoghion Avenue and converted it into a recording studio, equipped with a Harrison console, which caught fire shortly after completion and was destroyed. Tom Hidley & Carl J. Yanchar designed the new studio, which reopened in 1978, equipped with a Neve 8078 console. (For a period of time, the two studios operated simultaneously).
In 1983, the Messoghion Avenue studio was sold to Χρήστος Ζορμπάς, Μάκης Αχλαδιώτης & Ηλίας Αχλαδιώτης, who renamed it Sierra Studio.
